To be considered for funding, an organization must meet the following requirements:

1) Evidence of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2) Applicants may not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, physical handicap or sex.
3) Applicants must demonstrate adequate administrative capacity and financial stability.

The Funds do not provide grants for: 
-individuals
-deficit financing
-galas, special events or advertising space in programs
-political activities 
-health related initiatives
-national initiatives that are not Jewish in nature
