The Joseph & Harvey Meyerhoff Family Charitable Funds are a group of funds established over the years by Joseph “Joe” and Rebecca Meyerhoff and their son and daughter-in-law, Harvey “Bud” and Lyn Meyerhoff. Bud and Lyn’s children and grandchildren currently steward a family-only grants committee. We develop our grantmaking and strategy work together with our staff. The committee’s work is built upon our parents’ and grandparents’ legacy.
The family agrees that our deep historical connection to Baltimore calls for continued investment here as well as with projects impacting the Jewish people. The funds enable us to make significant contributions to improve the quality of life in Baltimore, and in the Jewish community locally, nationally, and in Israel. We make grants to a variety of non-profit institutions and organizations that align with our focus areas.
